Wow!

With 19 days remaining, we have already exceeded our goal of raising $2000 through the #SciFund Challenge. We are incredibly grateful for all the support for our project. Of course, we are still seeking donations, so please still consider contributing! $2000 is just the beginning for us. Additional money will be put towards extra transmitters and other equipment needed for radio telemetry. We are also in the midst of studying the genetics of spotted turtle populations across Nantucket Island as well as populations from mainland southeastern Massachusetts. We are always in search of funding for lab equipment to process blood samples – so your donation would still be used to fund our spotted turtle research!
